Without getting too deep into technical stuff, with regards to the T1 the two ways to inteface with a model I are: | |||
1.) The way we generally recommend - 1/4" out from the T1 into Ch 3/4 with the trim at '4'. | |||
2.) 1/4" balanced TRS from the T1 to XLR input of Ch 1/2. Of course this requires a TRS to XLR cable which most folks don't have lying around - but is a common studio connector available at GC etc. | |||
Both ways are equal as long as your distance from the model I is less than 25 or 30 feet. Longer than that I would lean toward option #2.Method #1 allows you not to use a preset Channel on the model I. | |||
