Everyone: The performers and the audience will be listening to the same sound source.  You can't make that point enough, emphasizing that what you hear on stage is what the audience hears.  If you can't hear the vocals, turn down.  If it's your solo, be above the rest of the band.  You can explain that it's like mixing an album live.  Or, that it's like an old school acoustic jam but much louder.
