- Bose recommends against using adapters and impedance matching transformers connected directly to the input jacks of the S1 Pro System.
Bose recommends that you do NOT attach adapters like this directly to the inputs of the S1 Pro. Using adapters increases the risk of damage to the input jacks by adding weight and stress on the input jacks.
Using an impedance matching transformer does not change the maximum volume available from the system.
With some microphones, you may get higher volume at a lower volume setting with an impedance matching transformer, but you can get the same volume by turning up the volume control without an impedance matching transformer.
