:The first thing I did when I got my F1 Stacks (F1 Model 812 with F1 Subwoofer) was test outside in a free field (no walls), head-to-head with my L1 Model II with B2. One F1 system vs. one L1 system. Even though the F1 was much louder up close, at fifty feet and beyond, the L1 was louder.

Even though the F1 was much louder up close, at fifty feet and beyond, the L1 had caught up and the volume was about the same.
When I got my L1 Pro32 I compared it to the L1 Model II. They are similar in their performance over distance, but the L1 Pro32 is considerably louder at every distance (about 6-7 dB SPL louder).
